Meet
the Team
 Dr.
John J. Palmer
Dr. John J. Palmer graduated at the top of his class at the Medical
University of South Carolina, and was inducted into the Omicron
Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He opened his practice in
Piedmont in 1983 and has always strived to provide the highest quality
care for his patients.
He completed
an advanced continuum in Contemporary Cosmetic Diagnosis and Treatment
at the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1996, which gave him the skills
to become a dental artist. He has continued his aesthetic training
from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Palmer purchased
a CEREC II computer in 1997, which allows him to provide strong,
aesthetic restorations in one appointment for his patients. The
CEREC III was incorporated into his practice in January of 2000.
Dr. Palmer began teaching the CEREC technology to other dentists
in 1999. His office in Greenville has been designated the Southeastern
Regional CEREC Training Center for Patterson Dental.
Dr. Palmer is
a Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies Dentist. Dentists
trained at LVI, the premier educational center for cosmetic dentistry
offer the artistry and expertise to create smiles that are simply

 Celia
Celia is the Dental Concierge in our office. She will help you get
to know all the other team members and help you through your dental
process as you come in. She will take down your dental goals and
help you work the cost of dentistry into your budget. Celia has
been a team member with Distinctive Dentistry since 1998.
 Amy
Amy has the title of Guest Services at our office. She
will help make your visit as comfortable as possible while assisting
Dr. Palmer. Amy has been a dental assistant for over 22 years, and
joined the Distinctive Dentistry team in 2002.
 Crystal
Crystal is our dental hygienist. She will be helping you keep your smile clean and beautiful as you come in for your regular cleaning visits. She will make you feel comfortable during your cleaning. All of our patients complement her on being a very gentle hygienist. She will be looking forward to seeing you for your next cleaning! Crystal joined Distinctive Dentistry in 2004.
