Dentist Greenville SC - Five Star Reviews
Five star review from Google
Palmer distinctive dentistry was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. They treat you with respect and everyone is very courteous. Pricing is reasonable and the work I had done was quick and painless. Although the time the doctor spent explaining all the options was priceless.

Dental bridges and crowns used to restore Greenville, SC area smiles

Greenville, SC area guests who visit Palmer Distinctive Dentistry will immediately notice the wide range of dental solutions available for their smiles. Dr. John Palmer ensure guests have access to restorative care to address missing or broken teeth. Dental bridges and crowns are two of the most popular treatments for repairing the smile.

Dental Bridges

Bridges are used to “bridge the gap” from missing teeth. They are made from ceramic and include crowns on each end fused to pontics, or “false teeth.” These restorations are used for guests who are missing one or more teeth in a row. They are permanently bonded over the adjacent teeth for support. Most guests enjoy their dental bridges for many years before replacement is necessary. Benefits of dental bridges include:

  • Affordability
  • Longevity
  • Natural appearance

Dental Crowns

Another option for restoring the smile is dental crowns. Crowns are used in situations in which guests need to add an extra layer of protection to a natural tooth, replace a single missing tooth with a dental implant, or need to cover a tooth that has been damaged or weakened. Dental crowns are versatile and commonly used in dentistry. They are also made of ceramic to appear as natural tooth structure; just as dental bridges are. Dental crowns are effective in many situations and they have become a standard when guests have dental implants placed for replacing a single tooth.
