Dentist Greenville SC - Five Star Reviews
Five star review from Google
Palmer distinctive dentistry was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. They treat you with respect and everyone is very courteous. Pricing is reasonable and the work I had done was quick and painless. Although the time the doctor spent explaining all the options was priceless.

Where can Greenville, SC area guests enjoy pain free dentistry?

When some Greenville, SC area guests think of dentistry, they think of pain. Some guests have had past negative experiences in the dental chair, while others have a fear someone in their “personal space.” Whatever the reason, guests can visit Palmer Distinctive Dentistry, a practice that offers sedation dentistry.

What is sedation dentistry?

How easy would it be to have a pain free visit at the dental office? To relax through invasive procedures and achieve a brand-new smile? Dr. John Palmer understand how nerve-wracking visiting the dentist can be, which is why they offer sedation dentistry. This is a service during which guests are sedated for a more positive experience every time they visit. Our practice offers two methods of sedation:

  • Oral conscious sedation
  • IV sedation

Oral conscious sedation

The first type of sedation is best for mild to moderate anxieties. Oral conscious sedation utilizes prescription sedatives which are given prior to the appointment. Guests take their medication approximately one hour before their visit and arrange transportation to the office. Guests arrive relaxed yet coherent. They can follow directions and answer questions but are cool as a cucumber! The dental procedure is completed, and once guests rest, they may awaken with little to no recollection of their visit.

IV sedation

Guests undergoing extensive procedures or those with severe anxieties may request IV sedation. Vitals are monitored throughout the procedure to ensure safety. IV sedation causes most guests to fall asleep for pain free dental care!

Dr. John Palmer is available at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry to offer pain free dentistry for guests in and around Greenville, SC. Contact the practice by phone at (864) 332-4113 or with a visit to 134 Milestone Way.
