Hey everyone, this is Carol, and she had her mercury removed yesterday in our office at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry, and I'm going to let her tell you about her visit.
Well, hi. I was a bit skeptical, very concerned just about the whole process, feeling a bit overwhelmed with it, but I just really trusted the team. I talked with them here, made sure that I had all my questions answered. They were awesome. Took the time to do exactly that for me, I found it was just the opposite of what I was concerned about. I didn't feel claustrophobic at all. I actually felt, for lack of a better word, protective and a little bit swaddled like I was in a cocoon. In fact, I wanted them to leave it on when they started to do the rest of the process. So we had five mercury removed out of five different teeth, and then three new crowns put on. They did it all while I sat right there in the chair, and the most uncomfortable portion of it was the oxygen nose, and having that on my nose.
